Divine Niche
Let's unveil the Divine Niches ...
Mythologies are a delightful concoction of epic stories of morality and righteousness.
Hindu Mythology is full of historic, enigmatic characters; resounding stories; and a surprisingly innate association with modern science. The incessant battle between good and evil depicted in Ramayan and the Mahabharat or the Vedas that give us an insight into ancient science and astronomy.
The Hindu epics were written to create the moral ideals for followers to aspire to, retaining its symbolism that it can be interpreted in different ways by different people. When interpreted without any preconceived notions, it teaches people to be more accepting of others: other cultures and beliefs and people.
One should see the stories as reflections of one’s own mind, emotions, ideas, and conflicts. There is no God and Demon outside us. The protagonist and the antagonist are within us. It's all in our hearts and minds. One should be able to distinguish between the Ram and Ravana proliferating within oneself. The jurisdiction of what character should be empowered and what to be suppressed, defines the prudence of one’s character.
Patriotism, divinity, liberation, salvation, achievement, heaven, hell, right, wrong, are abstract ideas essentially established through stories and our perspective to interpret those stories.
